NWA provides critical logistical support to the Forest Department to strengthen field-level conservation and conflict mitigation efforts across North Bengal. This includes the deployment of Quick Response Team (QRT) vehicles, support equipment, and other mitigation tools that assist frontline staff during Human-Elephant Conflict situations, wildlife rescue operations, monitoring activities, and emergency response interventions.
In addition to logistical assistance, NWA regularly organizes training programmes and capacity-building workshops for Forest Department personnel, helping enhance skills related to conflict mitigation, wildlife crime control, wildlife monitoring, community engagement, and field response strategies. Through this integrated support system, NWA aims to strengthen the operational effectiveness of frontline staff and contribute to more efficient wildlife conservation and management efforts.
